2015 US Nationals
The vision of Michael Byatt Arabians was on full display at this year's US Nationals held in Tulsa, Oklahoma!
As with every year over the last decade, the vision of the MBA breeding and show program was highlighted with major wins in all the breeding classes held at the US National Championships. A quick perusal of winners and Top Ten placements reflect the enormous influence of the breeding stallions that have been shown or managed by MBA. Marwan, Gazal, Besson, Enzo, Parys El Jamaal, OFW Magic Wan, and Aria Impresario and just a few of the notable sires that have called MBA home.
Both the 2015 US National Champion and Reserve National Champion Stallions started their show careers with Michael Byatt at the lead. The US National Champion Stallion, OFW Magic Wan, was shown to the titles of US Reserve National Champion Yearling Colt, US National Champion Futurity Stallion, and now the grand finale as the National Champion Senior Stallion. Aria Impresario, the Reserve National Champion Stallion, was also shown by Michael Byatt to Scottsdale Junior Champion and Supreme Champion as well as the US National Champion Junior Stallion.
Michael also led two offspring of this years National Champion Stallion, OFW Magic Wan, to two different National Champion titles. Makayah, bred by Michael Byatt and owned by Michael Byatt Arabians and Psynergy Corp, was named National Champion Futurity Filly and the dynamic yearling colt, Magic Mystery Z, was the unanimous National Champion Yearling colt. Both of these National Champions represent the fifth generation of National winners presented from this line by Michael Byatt.
The Reserve National Champion Mare, Badiaa AL Shahania, owned by Al Shahania Stud has been a frequent winner at the major shows throughout the United States. In Scottsdale and Las Vegas, she was shown by Michael to Gold titles in the filly division as well as the US National Championship for 2 yr old filles.
Michael Byatt Arabians has been the start for many young trainers path to success and we are proud of Austin Colangelo on his National Championship in Half Arabian Geldings with SDR Hot Commodity
Top Tens were also won by GC Le Marais, Amani Al Shahania, and Auriga El Marwteyn.
